I visit plenty of web-master forums and visit blogs about SEO along with create some blogs of my own about Blogging, Marketing With Articles, and SEO. I learn a lot by visiting other people’s sites and forums and learn a lot by revealing that information with others.
But one thing bothers me about what I continue reading many forums and blogs. Individuals are enthusiastic about Google. You’ll find forums where they reference Google as only ‘h’ because they seem to be afraid somebody at Google might study their post and not like it.
This Google passion borders o-n lunacy. Webmasters seem to be convinced that without a good rating in Google and without Googles stamps, pr, they can’t be successful on line.
Let us think of that for a moment. Suddenly they just weren’t there, but if they did, if Google folded tomorrow, not likely. Browse here at https://plus.google.com/103354941295701533309/posts to study the meaning behind this belief. http://Google.com did not resolve, page can’t be displayed, what can you do?
Would it not be like the stock market crash of the 30’s? Could webmasters be jumping off buildings? Since Google was gone could everyone else just stop doing business on line? Would the forums be full-of grieving webmasters with nowhere to show? Would they erect a statue of Matt Cutts and hold funeral ser-vices for your CEOs of Google? Can you light a candle for Google?
The idea I’m trying to make is that business was being done online before Google became a research website, before adnonsense and adwords, before Matt Cutts had a blog, and before Google hired an artist full-time to keep making pretty little Google images. We made money on the Internet, before there was a pr, toolbar, Google pictures, Google stores, and Google pay.
However, individuals write articles, blogs, and forums posts that start with things like, ‘If you conduct business on line, you have to pay attention to Google’, like that was a fact etched in stone.
If you should be someone who builds plenty of internet sites, decide to try an experiment. Navigating To www.frankweglarzhvac.blogspot.com/ maybe provides warnings you should give to your mother. Ignore Google for just that one website. Give attention to other research traffic and other techniques for getting business done. All without using something Google. Just check it out once. I’ll guess if you really try, you’ll still be successful with your website, without visiting Matt Cutts’ weblog even once. Just make it a game, if you can make money on the net without Google see.
Or do you have the Google pattern so poor that you actually think the internet could not actually func-tion without Google? It is like A-l Gore saying he invented the World Wide Web. Clicking site preview maybe provides lessons you should use with your girlfriend. We all know h-e didn’t. Neither did Google..
